25th Annual CAMP TIGER | June 2-6, 2025

To learn more about Camp Tiger, visit the LSUHS web page.

Camp Tiger, an annual community service project by first-year medical students at LSU Health Shreveport School of Medicine, has served children in the Shreveport-Bossier community for 25 years. This week-long day camp caters to children ages 5-18 with physical and cognitive challenges, including cystic fibrosis, Down syndrome, cerebral palsy, and autism. Thanks to generous supporters, no child has ever paid to attend since its inception in 2000.

While medical students volunteer to staff the camp, we still need your support! Specialized transportation and adapted activities contribute to the $600 required to fund one child’s week at camp. Your gift enables these children to participate in unique activities such as hip hop dance classes, bowling, skating, and field trips to Sci-Port Discovery Center, Gator and Friends, area parks, and Barksdale Air Force Base.

Despite successful fundraising events like Clays for Camp Tiger, a Chili Cook-Off, Camp Tiger In Concert, a Tennis Mixer, and merchandise fundraisers, we still need additional funds for Camp Tiger 2025. Your tax-deductible donation will ensure the continued success of Camp Tiger and allow more children to participate.

Please use the form below to make donations online with a credit card, or mail a check to the Foundation at 920 Pierremont Rd, Suite #506, Shreveport, LA 71106 with Camp Tiger on the memo line.
