A patient pushes themselves to walk again after a horrific accident. A first-year medical student in a new white coat determinedly enters into a life of healing and service to others. A scientist boldly discovers a new cancer treatment. These are examples of the fierce determination that forges a path to the future every day at LSU Health Shreveport. The LSU Health Sciences Foundation and our generous donors walk this path along with LSU Health Shreveport so that it can achieve its life-changing mission.

There are hundreds of ambitious projects and people hard at work on our campus, tackling issues that impact us here in Louisiana but also globally. The world is a big place, with big questions and difficult secrets to unlock. We have a fierce vision to meet these challenges head-on.

LSU has entered into the most ambitious higher-education advancement campaign in the history of Louisiana . . .  Fierce for the Future. When you partner with the Foundation in the campaign, you will help build a new medical education building, vital to ending the health care shortage in Louisiana. You’ll provide the investment to expand our physical rehabilitation programs within the School of Allied Health Professions. You’ll fund innovative research in state-of-the-art labs that will save lives. With your help, we can keep more of our most talented students in Louisiana to practice medicine, where it is needed most.
