All allied health alumni are invited to the annual reunion event on October 25-26, 2024, as we celebrate the milestone achievements of the graduating classes of 1984, 1994, 2004, and 2014.

This commemorative event, marking the 40th anniversary of the inaugural Physical Therapy graduating class, is free to attend for all alumni. To support and enrich our educational and clinical initiatives, we kindly encourage attendees to consider donating to the Joe McCulloch Endowment for Educational Excellence.

Inaugural Joe McCulloch Lectureship and Speaker Series

You’re invited to the Joe McCulloch Lectureship and Speaker Series, celebrating Dr. McCulloch’s impactful tenure as Dean of the School of Allied Health Professions at LSU Health Shreveport. Dr. McCulloch will be in attendance to kick off the series, which features our inaugural speaker, Dr. Nicole Stout. Dr. Stout is a renowned healthcare researcher specializing in cancer survivorship care delivery using implementation science to design and implement prospective multidisciplinary supportive care models. Her presentation will set the tone for the series, celebrating Dr. McCulloch’s legacy of clinical and educational excellence.

About the Speaker: Nicole L. Stout, DPT, CLT-LANA, FAPTA, is an internationally recognized expert and leader in cancer survivorship and rehabilitation care and is an established researcher studying survivorship and rehabilitation care models in cancer care delivery. She has led national and international consensus and guideline initiatives through the American Cancer Society, the National Institutes of Health, the WHO, and the American Congress of Rehabilitation Medicine. She holds appointments on the West Virginia Oncology Society Board of Directors, The Appalachian Community Cancer Alliance, the American Lymphedema Framework steering committee, the WHO Development Group for Cancer Rehabilitation, and is a past board member of the American Physical Therapy Association.

Join us for a historic Alumni & Family Day Celebration, the first-ever event combining our alumni gathering with our first-year students’ Family Day! Enjoy complimentary coffee and breakfast snacks, guided tours of the new Center for Medical Education building, clinical simulations center, and cadaver lab. Reconnect and network with fellow alumni in this unique event that blends tradition and new beginnings.
